Letter from the President

Dear Corvette Enthusiast,

Thank you for your interest in Club Corvette of Connecticut.

Club Corvette of Connecticut is a social/recreational organization that is made of more than 300 Corvette enthusiasts who have a wide range of individual interests and backgrounds. Despite the differences, we come together to enjoy each other’s company and to celebrate our common passion for America’s sports car, the Chevrolet Corvette.

Our members encompass all facets of Corvette ownership and reside throughout the state and even from across state lines. Membership in Club Corvette of Connecticut puts you in direct contact with members who have experience in racing, restoration, engine building and repair, general maintenance and detailing. You can count on members to offer you advice and help with any problems or projects that you may have. Some members drive their Corvettes on a daily basis while others bring them out only in good weather but all drive them to support Club cruises and special events.

Club Corvette of Connecticut offers an extensive calendar of events throughout the year that is guaranteed to allow the joy and satisfaction of Corvette ownership. Members can participate in as many or as few events as their schedule allows. One event that we do ask members to get involved in is our annual All Corvette Show held in July. The show is one of the finest in New England and is one of the few remaining fully judged shows in the area. Proceeds from the annual event allow Club Corvette of Connecticut to donate generously to our corporate partner The Connecticut Food Bank. Club members also participate in the annual Connecticut State Police Toy Drive and Channel 8’s Toys for Tots. Another successful program that the Club takes seriously is honoring our veterans. Our Vets in Vettes program provides older veterans with transportation during military celebrations such as the East Haven Memorial Day Festivities. We also take pride in participating in Madison’s 4th of July Parade. The Club is proud of its commitment to giving back to the community and in helping those less fortunate.

Ownership of a Corvette is not a requirement for membership, you need only a passion to preserve the legacy of the Corvette as America’s Sports Car. We would be honored if you considered joining with us in this Corvette experience. For more info on becoming a member, please contact our membership chairpersons Stan and Mary Griskewicz at Mary.Griskewicz@snet.net or by calling (203) 421-8317.
